The 29-year-old striker has scored six times this season and his performances also earned him two caps for Germany this year.
His consistent performances up front for Bremen have led to rumours of a departure from the German club in the winter transfer window.
Newcastle are believed to be interested in the forward and even Nottingham Forest are considering taking him to England as part of their plans to sign a striker in January.
Ducksch signed a new three-year deal with Werder Bremen in the summer and insisted that means something to him.
He pointed out that Werder Bremen have helped him to break into the Germany squad and he is aware of what he adds to the squad.
However, the forward conceded that it is difficult to predict what could happen while admitting that he feels a certain sense of pride in being linked with a move to the Premier League.
Ducksch told Sky Deutschland (via Fussball Transfers): “I didn’t extend my contract here for nothing.
“I am very happy here.
“I have been able to develop into a national team player and I know what I have to offer to the club.
“But of course, in football, you never know what will happen.”
He continued: “Now there was another rumour from England where Werder of course immediately said: we will block that.
“Of course, it makes me proud and happy that I am attracting interest from the clubs.”
It remains to be seen whether either Newcastle or Nottingham Forest make a serious attempt to sign the striker in January.
