The Liverpool academy product is on loan at Championship side Hull City and is in impressive form for the Tigers.

 

On Tuesday, Morton managed to get himself on the scoresheet in two consecutive league games and scored his second goal of the season in Hull City’s 4-1 victory over Rotherham United.

 

 

 

Rosenior hailed Morton as an outstanding player and admitted that the Tigers worked hard in the summer to strike a deal with Liverpool to bring the midfielder to Hull City.

 

The Hull City boss pointed out that he likes the versatility Morton provides to his squad and thinks that the Reds star is an all-round midfielder.

 

 

When asked whether Morton is getting better and better with each game, Rosenior told Hull City’s media: ”Yes, Tyler is an outstanding player.

 

“I am not surprised; we worked really, really hard to bring him in.

 

 

“What I really like about Tyler is that he can play as a pivot, as a deeper-line midfield player, he can get forward and create and score goals and he is like an all-round midfield player.

 

“So yes, delighted for him.

 

“He is in a really good run of form and hopefully it continues for a long time.”

 

The Liverpool loanee has featured 12 times so far in the league for Hull City and has netted two goals while providing two assists in the process.
