Recently repainted crisp white, these wooden slatted garden armchairs are so comfortable that you don't need to use a cushion. Patricia explains that their friends and neighbors from New York, the people who found Chanteduc, had a tradition of buying the house a present every year.

When the Wells purchased Chanteduc, it came furnished with just two of these unique garden chairs. So they continued the tradition, giving the house a present every Christmas - the first year was the bread oven, then two chairs the next year and so on.
