This 19th-century English wooden box is made from richly grained rosewood and accented with discreet mother-of-pearl inlays on the lid. The overall design is refined and understated, with clean lines and a warm, aged finish. Though it features a keyhole, the box no longer locks, adding to its timeworn charm.

The interior is lined with vibrant red fabric inside the lid and divided into four wooden compartments, ideal for storing jewelry, keepsakes, or desk accessories. The contrast between the bold interior and the subtly embellished exterior gives the piece a quiet elegance, making it a beautiful and functional addition to a study, dressing table, or collector’s display.

Condition and patina consistent with age.
